What is a “Third Space"?
A third space is the place outside of your home (your first space) and school or work (your second space). It’s where you go to just be; to reflect, connect, express yourself, and grow alongside others who get it without outside pressures.
For Me, For You, For Us.
TH3RDSPACE was founded by youth who’ve walked these paths ourselves, and we built it as a response to the systems that didn’t always hold us. Our work lives outside those traditional structures; rooted instead in care, connection, and community-led growth.
We create intentional spaces for Black and racialized youth to pause, reflect, and grow — surrounded by community. Whether it's through mentorship, workshops, or events, our programs make space for transition, development and community building. You don’t have to do it alone.

Building Meaningful Connections
Everything starts with connection. We create spaces where youth can be seen, heard, and understood, by peers, mentors, and themselves.
Leadership & Skill Building
We believe leadership starts with knowing yourself. When youth build confidence in their voice and abilities, they’re better equipped to make decisions, take up space, and shape their own future.
Community Engaged Learning
We create spaces where which learning isn’t one-way, but built in community, by community. where youth learn from one another, share knowledge, and grow together.

We believe no one should have to navigate the most important moments of their life, identity, growth, transition, in isolation. That’s why we’ve created a space where community, care, and connection come first.
